Taylor and Jesse were champs in their divisions. October 30, 2004 Capital District Championships Coxsackie-Athens School, Coxsackie, NY Results: We are the Capital District Champions! We won the First Place Trophy and five Mighty Pawns won individual trophies! Anthony was the highest Mighty Pawn in his section with a 3.5. Nov. 7, 2004 CAI Chess Festival of Newburgh sponsored by the Young Knights Results: We took second place at the CAI Chess Festival in Newburgh. We also took home six individual trophies! Michael S., Mia, Kyriacos, Ryan S., Kyle and Tat were trophy winners. Thirty-one Pawns participated. Nov.13, 2004 Kingston High School Tournament Results: We took first place as a team and seven trophies and eight medals.
