Howdy partners! We are learning about the Wild West this week. If your child has any cowboy or cowgirl type clothes, (cowboy hats, vests, etc.) please wear them to school this week. We will be reading stories about cowboys and the wild west. I will make a pretend campfire and we’ll sit around it, listen to stories , sing songs and play games. Our projects will consist of making a cowboy/cowgirl face from a paper plate, a cactus, an armadillo, a horse and decorate some boots. In our religion lesson we will talk about Jesus’ Ascension into heaven. We will re-enact the story and then, later in the week, celebrate by blowing bubbles. On Tuesday night, May 11, our school will present our Spring Concert. Please join us as we listen to our Children’s Chorus and our band. On Wednesday, May 12th we have an early dismissal due to a Faculty Meeting. Aftercare is available. Our class had a wonderful time singing and welcoming our Moms at our Mothers’ Day Tea on Friday. It was good to see all of them!
Have a wonderful week! Mrs. Barbara Sillner
